Director

Victoria Parker BSc MRICS

Vicky joined Spurdown in the late 1990s as a qualified Chartered Surveyor following a variety of roles in the property industry. She holds a degree in Land Management from Reading University and has been a qualified member of the RICS since 1996. She has led the strategic modernisation and trading focus of the company over recent years.

Vicky is a member of the Worshipful Company of Constructors, where serves as Almoner to the Company.  She completed the Cranfield University School of Management ‘Business Growth Programme’ and continues to be involved with the university providing insight into family owned businesses.  Vicky is a Trustee and Governor at Bede’s School, Eastbourne and chairs the Property and Development committee.

Simon Parker BSc MRICS FAAV

Simon has been active in the commercial and residential property market for over 25 years. In 1996 he qualified as a Chartered Surveyor working in Colchester in Essex where he gained valuable rostrum experience as an auctioneer. He transferred his auction knowledge to the London property market, firstly for Strettons and later Nelson Bakewell. In 2004 he moved to Savills and headed the Savills Commercial Auction team from 2008 until 2010.

Since joining Spurdown he has run the sales, acquisition and development team operating in both residential and commercial markets. He has carried out numerous developments adding value to the existing stock within the portfolio. Having navigated his way successfully through two recessions, Simon uses his experience and professional network to source new deals. Simon is a member of the Worshipful Company of Constructors.

Property Director

Josh Olney BSc MRICS

Josh has been in the property industry for 10 years, gaining experience in both commercial and residential markets. In 2018 he completed his real estate management degree through UCEM, which he undertook alongside full-time work at Durlings Chartered Surveyors in Tunbridge Wells. During this employment, he gained valuable experience in residential development and commercial agency work. In early 2019 he qualified as a Chartered Surveyor and RICS registered valuer at Sibley Pares Chartered Surveyors, where he headed up the General Practice team in their Ashford office, before moving to Spurdown in July 2021.

Since joining Spurdown, Josh has been heavily involved in acquisitions, development and portfolio management.

Josh has completed the executive management course at Cranfield University, School of Management.

Accountant and Company Secretary

Danielle Cresswell FCCA

Danielle started her accountancy career in 2008 as a trainee in a Sevenoaks accountancy practice. Through her training contract she gained a broad range of skills and experience in different aspects of accountancy. Danielle studied alongside full-time employment and qualified as a Chartered Certified Accountant in 2013.

Since making the move to a client side role at Spurdown, Danielle has enjoyed spending her time managing and analysing the finances of the company.

Danielle has completed the executive management course at Cranfield University, School of Management.

Office and Property Administrator

Libby Vidler

Libby joined Spurdown in 2022.  She had previously worked within her family business and assisted with the transition process when the business was acquired by a large national operator. Libby’s has been busy upgrading internal systems and IT at Spurdown.

Libby is currently studying part time with the University of the Built Environment for a degree in Building Surveying .
