Built in 1934 for the Westminster Bank (later to become Nat West), as a sub-branch to Tenterden. The branch flourished servicing the local farming community together with seasonal hop pickers. However, with a decline in cash transactions the branch closed in 1996.
Spurdown moved to the property in 2009.
